Gosala Krishna Temple
This is the only Sreekrishna temple in Akathethara Grama Panchayath, Palakkad District.
It was owned by Kuttipulikkalidam, a branch of the rulers of palakkattussery. It is centuries old.
This family had investituted the idol of Lord Krishna in the form of Balagopala and worshipped as their
family deity for the longevity of the family members. Kuttippulikkalidam family handed over this temple and
all its assets to the present public trust on July 13th 2005.
